NICHOLAS FREY
Nicholas Frey is an American dancer, also disciplined in acrobatics, singing, acting, and aerial arts. Growing up in Madison, WI, he studied gymnastics, acting, voice, and dance from an early age. His talents took him to the stage, performing at dance conventions, and in regional stage productions at the Children's Theatre of Madison, Musical Theatre of Madison, and Madison Ballet. Attending IMTA at 16, he received numerous agency contract offers and a scholarship to the performing arts training center, Stagedoor Manor. This led Nicholas to Los Angeles where he continued his training and worked on various TV and film projects such as, Nickelodeon, Kelly Clarkson, Glee, and the Screen Actors Guild.
Nicholas earned his BFA from the University of Arizona School of Dance - studying classical ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary and choreography. As a member of the UA Dance Ensemble, he proudly performed repertoire by Jose Limon, Sherry Zunker, Doug Neilsen, Michael Williams, and Sam Watson.
Upon graduation, Nicholas accepted a contract with Royal Caribbean International performing as a featured dancer and aerialist in “Starwater”, and as an Acrodancer in the aqua show, “Oasis of Dreams”. He later found himself in Berlin Germany, performing on one of the largest stages in the world. Nicholas participated in the creation of “VIVID”, directed by Krista Monson at the Friedrichstadt-Palast, where he was an Acrodancer. Most recently, Nicholas performed with the contemporary ballet company, "WONDERBOUND", under direction of Garrett Ammon and Dawn Fay.
Nicholas is currently looking for contracts and opportunities in the world of live entertainment.
